Transumo participants that financially commit themselves are part or the Board of Participants. In this way, cooperation between private parties, governmental organizations, and research organizations is ensured at the highest level of management. The Board of Participants mainly covers Transumo’s direction concerning the content, the tri-partite cooperation, and the establishment of the pursued knowledge infrastructure.

Via the initiators of Transumo also international knowledge networks are involved in Transumo. For instance, relations have been established with high standing foreign universities, with the European Framework Programs, and with worldwide programmatic networks such as ITS and UITP.
